  Farabi Hafiz is a renowned news anchor and media personality in Bangladesh, known for his engaging and narrative-driven news presentation style. With a background in Mass Communication and Journalism from Dhaka University, he began his career at DeshTV in 2009 and has since become a leading figure in the television industry. Beyond news anchoring, he is also a mentor, offering specialized courses on news presentation to train aspiring broadcasters. With his vast experience and impactful presence in the media, he is set to inspire the audience at TEDx University of Barishal with his insights on communication and storytelling.

• Jakaria Jalal

  Engr. Md. Jakaria Jalal is a prominent leader in Bangladesh's energy and industrial sectors, with over 18 years of experience. As Head of Strategy, Planning, and Public Relations for Sector-A at Bashundhara Group, he drives innovation and growth for one of the country's largest conglomerates. A Chemical Engineering graduate from BUET, he also holds an MBA from IBA, University of Dhaka, and a Master's in Economics from NSU. His expertise in LPG and industrial gases is recognized globally through media features and international conferences. A life member of the Bangladesh Energy Society and IEB, Mr. Jalal brings a global perspective shaped by visits to 25 countries. • Mohaimin Patwary

  Author, Teacher , Finance & Strategy Manager

  Mohaimin Patwari is a Bangladeshi economic analyst, researcher, and author, celebrated for advancing financial education in Bengali. Known for simplifying complex economic concepts, he has authored best-sellers like গল্পে গল্পে অর্থনীতি and ডলারের খেলা ও রাষ্ট্রের দেউলিয়াত্বের রহস্য, focusing on banking, financial markets, and global economies. An alumnus of the IBA, University of Dhaka, Mohaimin pursued a dual master's in finance and economics at the Norwegian School of Economics and the University of Mannheim. A Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), he completed all levels within three years. Beyond writing, he engages audiences through blogs, social media, and YouTube, promoting financial literacy and economic awareness. At TEDx University of Barishal, Mohaimin aims to inspire future changemakers with his profound insights into economic systems and global financial trends.

• Professor DR. Golam Rabbani

  Professor Dr. Golam Rabbani Institute of Social Welfare and Research, University of Dhaka Dr. Golam Rabbani is a seasoned academic with deep expertise in the field of social welfare. He currently serves as a Professor on deputation at the University of Dhaka's Institute of Social Welfare and Research, where he contributes to both teaching and research leadership. His academic journey spans both national and international institutions: Ph.D. in Social Welfare – University of Dhaka (2013) Master’s in Social Work – Gothenburg University, Sweden (2006) Master’s in Social Welfare – University of Dhaka (1994) Bachelor’s in Social Welfare – University of Dhaka (1993) With decades of experience in academia and research, Dr. Rabbani is recognized for his commitment to advancing social welfare practices and policy development in Bangladesh. His professional scope includes conducting impactful research, mentoring students, and participating in academic collaborations.
