  Meet Afina Karima, a passionate young activist dedicated to empowering youth, children, women, education, and social media. Since grade 7, she has honed her skills in public speaking and program management, creatively tackling community challenges. Afina is committed to inspiring others and driving positive change through her initiatives.

• Bara Matahari Pagi

  Composer

  Bara Matahari Pagi, a rising 16-year-old composer from Sidoarjo, has been making waves in film, TV, and game music since starting at just 12. From scoring festival films to contributing to Sengkolo: Malam Satu Suro and collaborating with Spitfire Audio, his talent knows no bounds. In 2022, he was invited to share his inspiring journey on one of Netflix’s programs.

• Celia Noreen

  Musician/Songwriter

  Meet Celia Noreen, a talented 17-year-old artist weaving her experiences into poetry, songwriting, and painting. Her debut song, "Romance," written on her 14th birthday, is inspired by iconic couples from Stranger Things, Friends, and Spider-Man. Through her unique words and melodies, Celia captivates listeners with themes such as love and self-discovery.

• Daniel Handoko

  Meet Daniel Handoko, a passionate advocate for children’s literacy, who created BookLens to help young readers choose age-appropriate books. By scanning barcodes, his app empowers kids to make safe reading choices. This year, his innovative vision earned him a $2,500 grant from the Ciena Solution Challenge!

  Capoeira for Kids at Escola Cultural Zungu Capoeira Surabaya, led by Johan Soedjatmiko (with 20 years of experience), offers a dynamic and engaging way for young learners to develop physically and stay active. Through playful movements, music, and acrobatics, they can build coordination, flexibility, self-confidence and creativity through the art of Capoeira.

• Gerald Adhi Pramana

  Meet Gerald Adhi Pramana, a creative young soul who turned regret into art. After losing his beloved mother, he poured his grief into a heartfelt song. As an orphan, Gerald not only perseveres but also explores his creative potential at SMK Tanoko 1 Pasuruan. From photography to music composition, he proves that every life challenge is a step toward a more beautiful transformation.

  Meet Hazura Indar Faradiba, the visionary behind Sorowako’s first Readers & Writers Festival. As a high school student and its founder, she’s igniting creativity in her community. With three anthologies and an Indonesian Cultural Award, Diba’s passion for literacy and the arts is truly inspiring!

• Muhammad Airlangga Putra Perdana

  Meet Muhammad Airlangga Putra Perdana, an active student advocating for youth aspirations. With experience in various youth initiatives aimed at enhancing human resources, he embraces challenges with curiosity and enthusiasm. Driven by a passion for learning, Airlangga sees every new opportunity as a stepping stone toward a brighter future.

• Naomi Olivia

  Assistant Music Director, Musician, Songwriter

  Meet Naomi Olivia, a talented young musician from Surabaya who began learning music at age three. Born in 2009, she’s already earned Gold awards at the Asia Pacific Arts Festival 2023 and Bali International Choir Festival 2024. Her original songs are available on all digital platforms, and through her song “Ku Tak Sendiri”, she’s inspiring students in a campaign against OCSEA (Online Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse).

• Vira Mustika Yala Samudra

  Meet Vira Vira Mustika Yala Samudra, a high school student at SMK Tanoko 1 Pasuruan, who has a unique passion for wood carving. Unlike most, she finds joy in creating intricate designs and learning various wooden and vintage crafts like decoupage. Through her work, Vira proves that creativity has no limits, inspiring herself to pursue her meaningful passions.
