His extensive professional journey includes projects like Coca-Cola's celebrated Coke Studio, global events such as the FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour Pakistan, and spearheading groundbreaking sustainability initiatives, including pioneering plastic recycling programs in Pakistan. • Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora

  Minister for Minorities Affairs, Punjab

  Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora, Minister for Minorities Affairs, Punjab, is a distinguished Sikh leader, entrepreneur, and public servant from Kartarpur, Narowal. He made history as the first Sikh member of the Punjab Assembly and Cabinet since Pakistan’s independence, serving two consecutive terms (2013–18, 2020 onwards). A dedicated human rights advocate, he played a pivotal role in the enactment of the Punjab Sikh Anand Karaj Marriage Act 2018, positioning Pakistan as the first country to formally register Sikh marriages. He has held key legislative roles, including Chairman of the Standing Committees on Commerce & Investment and Human Rights & Minorities Affairs. Mr. Arora has also served on the Evacuee Trust Property Board, the National Commission for Minorities, and as General Secretary and currently Pardhan of the Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Parbhandak Committee. He represented Pakistan internationally, notably at the Citizen Equal Rights Forum in the U.S. (2011).
