• Anastassia Roberts

  Anastassia Roberts is a student at UC San Diego, and she is working towards a double major in Communication and Literature/Writing. In her free time, you can find her discovering various coffee shops in San Diego and snorkeling with Sea Lions at La Jolla Cove.

• Arlene Nagtalon

  Arlene is a fourth-year at UC San Diego pursuing double majors in Molecular and Cell Biology and Community Research, Education, and Well-Being (an Individual Studies Major) with double minors in Public Service (Health) and Ethnic Studies. As an aspiring first-gen graduate student, she’s still figuring out who she wants to be, whether that’s a doctor, creative, scientist, and researcher, amongst other roles. But as long as she is content pursuing a myriad of passions, Arlene knows she'll be happy wherever she goes.

• Charles Vu

  Charles is a UC San Diego alumni and currently a product manager at Kaiser Permanente. His passion and interests within the healthcare industry led him to share his journey. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, video games, and exploring new hobbies such as pottery.

• Julian Jackson

  Julian, was born in San Diego California within a low income community with dreams of becoming an Astrophysicist. From homelessness to harsh forms of discouragement from family and friends, then exploring different avenues in his life, and ultimately becoming the first to attend college within his family, Julian shares the mindset it took to accomplish it.
