In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations). The Theme for this year's edition is EXPANDING BOUNDARIES and the event is poised at expanding and breaking current mindsets of attendees by introducing ideas that will spur minds to innovate and create thoughts beyond the regular. The TEDxLandmarkUniversity team consists of student team-members in collaboration with the school's alumni association who thrive to push and expand boundaries in their respective roles and host an event to empower OUR generation to Expand Boundaries today!

  • Adefunke Fola Oyinloye

    Administrator/ Registrar

    Adefunke Fola Oyinloye is an experienced University Administrator, with proven track record in General Administration, Team Building, Effective Communication, Public Speaking, Policy Writing, Customer Relations, Mentoring, Counseling, Crisis Management and Strategic Analytical Skills. She is presently the Registrar of Landmark University, Omuaran, Nigeria. Before assuming the position of the Registrar at the University, Adefunke has taken up several administrative responsibilities such as Deputy Registrar, Principal Assistant Registrar, Senior Assistant Registrar, Executive Secretary, School of Postgraduate Studies and the Sub-Dean of Student Affairs Unit. Adefunke drives herself to birth change, having no patience with the status quo or mediocrity; and motivates others to see and maximize their potentials, to birth change.

  • Boluwaduro Okunade

    Financial expert

    Boluwaduro Okunade is currently a 400level student of Covenant University studying Information Communication Engineering and has served at various leadership positions within the University. From an early age, Bolu has been consumed with a burning desire to re-invent the damaged perception of wealth present in the average youth. Bolu is committed to training young people to become legitimately wealthy through proper mental development and financial intelligence training.

  • Charity Aremu

    Crop breeder/Vice Chancellor

    Charity Aremu is a Professor of Crop Breeding and Genetics and currently the Vice Chancellor, Landmark University, Nigeria. Prof Aremu has been a university teacher and administrator, with over two (2) decades of quantifiable and successful experience in teaching, research and service impact. A professional teacher, Charity rose through the ranks to become a professor and qualified university academia in Genetics and Plant Breeding as a crop improvement specialist who served and still serving in diverse university administrative platforms.

  • Itunuoluwa Kayode

    social impact activist/ student

    Kayode Itunuoluwa is a final year Civil Engineering student of Landmark University and currently serves as the student Chaplain in the school. He is an advocate of the sustainable development goals, a thought leader and social impact and innovation enthusiast with an immense passion for God. He is an alumnus of the Model United Nations organized yearly in Nigeria for students, which is a simulation of the United Nations poised to proffer solutions to the challenges we face in our world today. In 2016 he was nominated as one of the students at NISSMUN to visit the Denmark and Switzerland Ambassadors to Nigeria. He was given an award for having the best speech at the 2021 City Mun Conference

    Henry Chukwuemeka JOSEPH, is a pioneer graduate of the department of Agricultural Extension and Rural Development of Landmark University, and currently a Masters student of Agricultural Extension & Rural Development at the prestigious University of Ibadan. Henry is the Founder/President of Éternel Global Investment Limited & also the CEO of Éternel Farms Agribusiness & Consultancy. He is practicing farmer & agriculture consultant presently managing 6 farms in Nigeria which includes Snail farming, Pig farming, Goats & rams & rabbit. He is also into the production and sale of Hybrid plantain & pineapple Suckers. Eternel Farms is also also into budding of lime, lemon, orange, coconut, etc
