Love today is shaped by a relentless pursuit to be seen as desirable, fueled by social and economic forces that value people much like stocks on a market. In a world where buying jeans or collecting trophies becomes a way to win affection, anxiety and loneliness thrive. The speaker jokes about seduction capital and even 'pick-up artists' treating heartbreak as an infection, spotlighting a culture fixated on desirability.
