なぜ未成年者は犯していない犯罪について偽りの自白をしてしまうのか?どうして未成年者は大人よりも、このショッキングで、直感に反する行動を取ってしまいやすいのか?ネットフリックスのドキュメンタリー『殺人者への道』で取り上げられたブレンダン・ダシーの尋問と自白の映像を通して、発達心理学の教授、研究者であるリンジー・マロイが偽りの自白が起きてしまう科学的な根拠について説明します。そして大人を想定して作られた法制度において、子供の扱い方を変える必要があると呼びかけます。
