Women entrepreneurs are transforming economies, yet they are often overlooked or limited to microloans despite running everything from home businesses to factories. In post-conflict Rwanda, women made up 77 percent of the population and became vital economic drivers. Across the globe, women own nearly half a million firms in South Korea and Indonesia, and in the U.S., women-led businesses are projected to create millions of new jobs. Unlocking investment and shifting perceptions can unleash their full economic potential.
