By inviting neighbors to write their aspirations on an abandoned house’s chalkboard, one New Orleans community found new ways to connect. Within a day, the wall was filled with hopes ranging from singing for millions to reconnecting with lost loved ones. The project spread globally, showing how public spaces can reflect what truly matters. Contemplating mortality can bring clarity to life and reveal the power of sharing with others.
