Bio
For more than a decade, Sarah has been responsible for programmatic oversight of the Skoll portfolio of Awardees, and convenings such as the Skoll World Forum, that accelerate entrepreneurial approaches and innovative solutions to the world's most pressing social issues.
Prior to the Skoll Foundation, Sarah had more than 15 years of executive marketing, communications and event experience in the public, private and government sectors. She served as the Vice President of Communications at the X PRIZE Foundation, Vice President of Communications at the Prostate Cancer Foundation as well as a Vice President at Porter Novelli International.
In addition to executive corporate and non-profit experience, Sarah also served in the Clinton Administration as the Director of Marketing for the Peace Corps and the Press Secretary of the National School-to-Work Office at the US Department of Education.
While living in Washington, D.C., she gained significant broadcast experience as a former television panelist for 3 years on a national public affairs television show and served as a spokesperson appearing and quoted in numerous top-tier media outlets. Sarah started her career as part of the communications team for Senator John F. Kerry (D-MA) and earned a BA with honors in Political Science and International Relations from Boston College and has studied in both France and at Oxford.
