I'm passionate about

Alternative Energy and how that can transform the prospects of the rural poor around the world.

An idea worth spreading

The Multi Functional Rural Fuel Platform (MFRFP) enables poor, rural farmers to free themselves from the cycle of poverty that currently ensnares them. Using vegetable oil seed crops as the raw material, rural farmers can energize their communities using the MFRFP Platform to make diesel fuel, not biodiesel, but a diesel fuel that exactly meets the specification for petroleum derived diesel fuel.. The MFRFP provides a way for rural populations to earn money selling a community produced diesel fuel replacement . As a byproduct, the MFRFP Platform brings electric power and clean water to their communities. For the first time Carbon Credits enable an expensive, high tech piece of equipment like the MFRFP Platform to be sold to the poorest people in the world who make less than a dollar per day. This process brings dignity to the folks being uplifted and poverty alleviation it is no longer a charitable process but a commercial transaction between equals. www.mfrfp.org
