Bio
Fadila Farag moved to London in August 2017 from Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates, where she was born and raised, although originally from Cairo, Egypt.
She studies Psychology at Richmond University and aims to specialize in Pediatric Health/Medical Psychology. Passionate about helping people, particularly children, Fadila volunteers as a healthcare play worker at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children and chairs the university's Richmond Psychology Association.
Previous to Fadila's move to London, she founded Protect the Fighters (PTF), a student-led organization working to improve the lives of children fighting cancer by incorporating positive projects through student hospital volunteering. Fadila and the PTF leadership team spoke at two TedX Youth events in Abu Dhabi to raise awareness about the importance of multidisciplinary care protocols for pediatric cancer, in terms of incorporating psychosocial support for holistic treatment.
In her free time, Fadila loves to do pilates, cook, and travel.
