About Martina
Bio
Martina Castro is CEO & Founder of Adonde Media, a globally-minded podcast production company that works with clients such as Duolingo, NPR and TED to make podcasts for new audiences. Over her career she has worked at NPR and KALW-FM in San Francisco as a producer, editor and sound designer, including cofounding and producing NPR's Radio Ambulante, the network’s first Spanish-language narrative journalism podcast. She was awarded a Fulbright in 2015 to teach audio storytelling at the University of Montevideo and in 2017 launched Adonde Media at StartUp Chile’s incubator program for female-led startups. Martina gives numerous talks and workshops on the art of audio storytelling and on the need to share our stories across languages.
