I truly believe that accepting new challenges is what moves humanity forward. For this reason I have a real interest in leading others to accept and carry out new projects and ideas that can contribute to improving our society in different ways. Finding new solutions to problems that have only been addressed in a concrete way is my main goal, and that is why I have a deep interest in science, especially in areas related to aging and neurodegenerative diseases. Medical knowledge gives me the opportunity to learn about and consider the biggest biomedical problems in the world, as well as the less recognised ones, and brings me closer to why science is so important: it improves people's lives.

Learning from other cultures: I am fascinated by how other cultures and countries grow in different fields and I am waiting to learn from them. There are always things to improve and to learn from people who live in a completely different way than yours and that only translates into personal and social growth.

I am determined to contribute to the dissemination of new ideas and knowledge, whether through articles, talks or even art. That's why I think TED is one of the best ways to never stop thinking, to share and make new ideas emerge from old ones. I believe that the creation of TEDx events, conferences and everything that means exchanging ideas is the best way to progress. That is my TED story: I've been looking for my own and collective progress since the first day I entered a TED talk.
