First attended a TEDx event in 2016 and began volunteering with TEDxPortHarcourt in 2017. The closeness to the curation process sparked a deep interest, leading to a transition into the core organizing team by 2018. In 2019, secured a license and hosted a first event, while co-organizing with several others, locally and internationally. In 2024, I got the license for TEDxMambillaSt, and currently leading the team at TEDxAbuja; one of Africa’s leading TEDx events. Attended my first TED event in Atlanta, GA; the first-ever TEDNext, c/o Skoll Foundation & TED. The drive to share transformative ideas, spark meaningful conversations, and energize local communities continues to fuel this journey. There’s something powerful about watching people leave the room with fresh perspectives and renewed commitment. The goal remains to spotlight the conversations, draw in those who need to hear them, and bring people together—around ideas, shared purpose, and yes, amazing cupcakes. It’s about connection, community, and lasting impact.
