I grew up between the Charinthian mountains, which are situated in southern Austria. After one year of challenging my mind during my philosophy studies in Vienna, I moved to the UNESCO City of Design Graz to expand my creative skill set. I graduated from the University of Applied Sciences at the department of Media & Design in Information Design early 2020. Currently I’m based in Berlin and I'm freelancing as a Graphic Designer.

The challenges of an information designer are collaboration within an interdisciplinary team and creating design solutions which can make life easier or improve it. Essentially Information designers try to set up expert knowledge by means of design tools in such a way that everyone is able to understand it. In other words, we try to improve the information and knowledge flow between people by including aesthetic aspirations. This is inspiring to me because I think the better we are able to communicate the stronger and more conscious we are as a society.

Do and create things you‘d like to see more often in the world.

Several years ago I saw my first TED Talk in the web and after realizing that there is an organisation behind it who’s spirit is to spread valuable ideas and making them accessible in the internet for everyone, I was impressed. Many other TED videos followed. Two years ago after winning a design competition for TEDxDornbirn I attended this event, enjoyed it and was inspired. This experience planted the seed to organize a TEDxEvent into my head. It was always on my mind and I couldn’t think of a better moment to do it than now. Additionally I want to engage in the spirit of sharing knowledge and triggering each other's potential. I also know that I’m responsible for triggering my potential on my own. I don’t want to wait until something is happening to me that changes my life or perception of it. So I use the opportunity to act.
