About Bonnie
Bio
Bonnie Wentzel is the director of CommLabASU/the Communication Assessment and Learning Lab(CALL). This nationally recognized communication lab is an innovative learning space that provides peer mentoring to undergraduates in developing, organizing and delivering public presentations. Her passion is to expand communication education by helping students, community youth,
and working professionals develop their authentic speaking voice. As a lecturer, Bonnie has been recognized for outstanding teaching as a Centennial Professor, awarded by the Associated Students of Arizona State University and received the Outstanding Teaching Award presented by the New College of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences.
Bonnie attended Arizona State University on the west campus where she completed her bachelor's degree in Communication Studies and in 2009, earned a masters degree in Communication Studies with an emphasis on the experienced learner in higher education. Bonnie is also a graduate of the Barrett, the Honors College. She holds certificates in general business, organizational leadership, and journalism.
