BIO: Trina Albus is the founder and President of Magenta Agency, which offers social strategy and marketing consulting to a portfolio of fashion, beauty, and lifestyle clients in Los Angeles and New York City. Trina is a seasoned digital strategist with 15+ years of career experience, including 7 years in social media. Throughout her career, she has held positions at Price Waterhouse, Discovery Channel, Time Inc, and BeachMint. Trina is very active in the Los Angeles tech community, serving as a mentor at Launchpad LA and Amplify and as an advisor to start ups. Trina frequently teaches social and digital strategy through both Skillshare and General Assembly. In addition, Trina is a contributor to Financial Times Press book, 33 Million People in the Room: How to Create, Influence, and Run a Successful Business with Social Networking. She has been involved with Social Media Week since 2009, serving as an Advisory Board member and speaker at Social Media Week New York and LA. Trina is an 85 Broads SoCal Chapter Leader and is a member of the Getty House Foundation Salon LA Committee, which hosts intimate gatherings at the official residence of the Mayor of Los Angeles for leaders, innovators, and creators from Los Angeles and around the world.
