The TED story

I was at the Opera in the lobby; a woman that I did not know began to engage me in conversation. I told her that I had done a TEDx Columbus talk and without hesitation or even hearing me speak she said “You should do the real TED!” She told me about the search in New York. I applied for the search and was one of the 13 finalists and shortly after my audition I was told that I was selected for TED Vancouver.
