About Rodin

I am a…

Brainstormer, Buddhist, Engineer, Explorer, Idea generator, Writer/Editor

Bio

I am an experienced technical leader, an incorrigible enabler of ideas, a decision unblocker, a consensus builder, an engineer. I love building and leading teams and projects that execute effectively in dynamic and uncertain environments. I spent a few years as CEO of A³, the advanced projects outpost of Airbus in Silicon Valley, where I'd previously created and led Project Vahana. Before that, I was an early member of the Kitty Hawk engineering team, where I led the flight controls and software teams. Earlier, I was at Rockwell Collins where I designed flight software for some of the first modern drones: AAI RQ-7 Shadow, Predator, Alenia Sky-X, and the NASA Mars Flyer, among others. Also previously at Apple, Zoox. I have an undergraduate and a Master’s degree in aeronautical engineering from MIT. I love getting lost outdoors and making new perspectives accessible to all.
