About Eric

Bio

Eric Solomon, Ph.D., is a cognitive psychologist and founder of The Human Operating System, where he helps leaders and teams navigate a world moving faster than they can make meaning. He served as CMO at Bonobos and Instagram Business, Head of Brand Strategy at Spotify, and co-founder of YouTube's creative agency—building brands during moments of hypergrowth, cultural tension, and technological disruption. Today, Eric advises organizations on foundational storytelling, personal brand strategy, and how to lead through AI without losing what makes them human. He teaches "Marketing with Humanity in the Age of AI" at Fordham's Gabelli School of Business, writes for Harvard Business Review and Psychology Today, and is writing his first book, DRIFT, on what happens when acceleration outpaces clarity and we lose authorship over our choices, our narratives, and ourselves.
