Yen-Chi Ho

Yen-Chi Ho is curator, computer scientist, award-winning photographer, activist, and public speaker. He holds a BA in Information and Industrial Management from the National Cheng Kung University(NCKU). He has 5 years of professional experience in a variety of difference fields—IT Management, Server and System Administration with Mac OSX, Windows and Linux, Web Application Development, Workflow Design, Product/Project Management, Product Design, Marketing, Sales, UX design, Human Computer Interaction, Editing, Screenwriting, Photography, Cinematography and Directing. He's Founder of TEDxTainan, whose mission is to provide a global, engaging, online sharing ecosystem for Taiwan where youngsters can contribute to their own country by sharing experiences and take action passing on invaluable experiences – removing physical, language, and financial barriers. He is also a volunteer IT consultant of TEDxTaipei who helped solving various IT problems when hosting annual conferences. Yen-Chi has extensive experience with international relations since the age of 17, joining Rotary Youth Exchange Program representing Republic of Taiwan in the United States where he tour around the States and speak for the generation of the far east island country. He later host several cross-over design workshop in NCKU. Co-design with students from Royal College of Art Platform 17 and Co-host "Mind the Gap" Exhibition in both Tainan City and London. Meanwhile, He's the CEO's secretary at Horizon Yachts, Software developer at QMedia, Research & Teaching Assistant in NCKU, Secretary General and Bilingual Student Anchor for NCKU News Center. He was interviewed by several newspapers and Radio, among which are The Liberal Times, The CDNews, The Epoch Times, The Taiwan Southern News, YunTech News, NCKU News, National Education Radio, and Tainan City Government, while he wrote for National Cheng Kung University School Journal.

Making changes and boost the efficiency of everyday work in order to have more time spent on loved things.

To do little great things such as make the trash cans look like some arcade machine, so people would like to throw trash in instead of throw it anywhere.
