Teacher and trainer with a background in the peace movement. I teach in a secondary school and specialise in Drama and English but I have worked in a whole range of settings from referral units to prisons, and with all ages.

Being creative is essential for successfully being human; ritual is enormously important to us in shaping and owning our lives; we exist in community, we are interdependent; we are miraculous.
An idea worth spreading
Magic is transforming power - the ability to change. Love (the lack of it, the presence of it) changes us. Love is, therefore, magic. learning how to give and to receive this magic takes a lifetime. Long white beards or pointy hats are non-essential items, but there are rules to be followed, lore to be honoured.
The TED story
TED is what the ipad was invented for; TEDx Observer was enough brain fuel and heart fodder to sustain me til now and the decision to create a TED x at school. A TED talk is the perfect accompaniament to cooking supper - prop it on the bar top and wack up the volume.Ideas are brilliant.
