The TED story
I remember going to TEDGlobal 2007 and thinking-"alright yet another conference", then by the time i started listening to the speakers and felt the quality of the organization i was really thrilled. One of my most moving moments and lasting memories was William's 3 minuties speech about how he made a windmill out to power his home. It really got me inspired and thinking. I remember saying to my self here is a boy with limited resources and skills yet was able to do something of that magnitude. Then i realized we need to stop complaining about lack of resources/infrastructure in Africa and make the best of what we have. TEDGlobal 2007 was indeed a great inspiration for me.
