Bio
Naga Tummala is the Co-founder and CEO of Coschool, where he is building a new category in learning systems.
At the heart of his work is a simple but unresolved problem: learning remains invisible until outcomes are declared. Through SchoolAi—a closed-loop learning platform for schools—he is working to make learning continuously visible, so teachers can act early and ensure no child silently falls behind.
Over the past three decades, Naga has co-founded and built multiple educational institutions through People Combine, including Oakridge International Schools. In 2019, the group divested Oakridge in a landmark transaction, widely regarded as one of the largest foreign investments in India’s education sector.
He is a co-founder of ARISE, an initiative focused on systemic reform in school education, and has served on the board of CEO Clubs India.
Naga is also the author of “Shomie Das: The Man Who Saw Tomorrow”, a tribute to his mentor and one of India’s most respected educationists.
Trained in mathematics, with advanced executive education from ISB, INSEAD, and Singularity University, Naga brings a systems-thinking lens to one of the world’s most complex challenges: how children actually learn.
He has committed a third of his net worth towards philanthropic causes.
Personal Accolades:
Recognised as “Innovative Startup CEO of 2024” (CEO Clubs India), and earlier by India Today and The Times of India for contributions to education.
I'm passionate about
Reimagining how learning systems respond while learning is happening—not after exams
An idea worth spreading
The problem in education is not teaching—it is that learning remains invisible until it is too late
Things you might not know
Seeing patterns others miss—and connecting them into systems that work
