Biography:
Scott Winter brings over 25 years of experience in training and facilitation with a diverse range of clients in the United States and abroad. He joined FranklinCovey’s Global Speed of Trust Practice in 2007 (then CoveyLink) and now serves as a Senior Consultant and Master Facilitator, leading on-site workshops and facilitator training sessions for organizations large and small.
Early in his career, Scott worked extensively in experiential education, youth leadership development, juvenile justice, and social welfare arenas. Building upon his educational foundation in Organizational Communication and Psychology, Scott developed an expertise in strategic planning and organizational alignment that keeps him in demand by community leaders, government officials, and corporate executives alike.
His trust work and unique experience with the non-profit, corporate, and government sectors has allowed him to lead effective strategic planning and quality efforts in all three, including helping a large metropolitan city in the Bay Area create a plan for addressing the current severe economic situation, working with city council members to align departmental goals with council priorities, and growing trust between elected officials and department heads.
A passionate and sought-after consultant, Scott is also the founder of a leadership and organizational development firm in Chico, California. He has crafted numerous training programs and strategic initiatives for corporations, governments, non-profits and schools, and has led, trained, and directed leadership programs for organizations throughout Russia, Taiwan, Portugal, Japan, Australia, and the U.S. Scott’s clients also include organizations in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, agri-business, telecom, food and beverage, and technology industries.
When he is not leading teams on using trust as a strategic advantage, helping overhaul organizational cultures, or helping to build stronger community organizations Scott spends his time in Chico, California with his wife and kids.
