Hi, How are you doing? Nice to meet you! My name is Antonello and I come from Italy, but I live in Bristol UK since 2013. My favourite hobby is travelling and if you have a look to my couchsurfing profile you can easily see that it becomes my life more than an hobby. I have been in more than 30 countries, most of them as a solo traveller, where I met, shared and made friendship with people all around the world. I love integration and I'm very curious about other culture, due to this I have recently bought an house in Bristol, because It's a very multicultural place full of events and with a very strong local community. My plan at the moment is to host people from any place in the world, trough couchsurfing, to hear from them what's happening in their countries or sharing opinions about future plans or listening their experience of life. What am I doing in life? I am currently working in hospitality as assistant manager at Nando's, while I'm studying business and management through apprenticeship. They allow me to travel a lot during the year and they help me a lot to realise all my dreams. My goals in life? After TEDx Bristol I have recently been inspired by David McGoran talks and I would love to take part of his robotic project here in Bristol. My plan is to keep learning the languages and cultures, that I love the most as Spanish and Portuguese, for then applying for University to study engineering.

I'm very passionate about travelling, hosting and meeting new people. I have started travelling since I was 6 years old with my parents and a solo traveller when I turned 16. I have been in more than 30 countries and I lived in two, Italy and England, looking for the third soon. The best thing about my travel experience are the people I have met, most of them they are still in contact with me and they quite often visit me at Bristol or in Italy, that makes me so proud because I'm very passionate person and I love that everyone understand my kindness even without sharing to much words. Other passion are sports, I'm a fun of any sports in the world, but my favourite one is Basketball because it shows me every single time how fundamental is the team work!

Humanity, Integrity and future. Humanity: I would love to see people sharing more and not just making profit or thinking about money. My idea is to help other human being for no cost, in exchange I ask to tell me their story or to show me their skills or to share their opinion. Integrity: I have seen a lot of prejudice nowadays and I would love to help new generation to grow up with a different mindset, because I truly believe that we can all cooperate together for a better future! Future: A lot of people are scared about what is going to happen in the next 50 years. However I think that we should adapt ourselves with new technologies, in order to create a peaceful cooperation between humans and androids. It is very important to learn the relationship between nature, technology and humanity for creating a new world. My opinion is that our future is in our hands and that it's probably the first time in all entire history that we have the technology to help the world and people. HOPE!

What is my relation with TED? I discovered TED talks when I was attending English Class in Italy, where the youtube video were used to improve our listening skills. I have started to be a TEDx regular attendee in my hometown in Italy, Varese, and here at Bristol. However I have been so impressed about the strength of a TEDx event, that I have recently decided to be part of the team of TEDx Varese to help them to improve the communication and the event settings.
