I am a senior year student at RMK Engineering College pursuing my bachelors in Mechanical Engineering. I am an native of Chennai, India. My hobbies are painting and listening to music. I love playing batminton and cricket.

I am very keen on improving myself and the people around me. I always aim to make myself and the people around me to achieve greater heights. I also focus to improve myself academically as well as non-academically. I’m also a voracious reader which will mean that I seek a book’s help to get new insights on life and culture. I am passionate about automobiles and the latest technologies. I want to make a difference in this world.

The idea is use genetic research of crops to improve the yield and quality of the food. Researchers on agriculture from various agricultural societies like Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) and Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) have made quality research. The backbone of Indian economy is Agriculture and with light on recent events on the conditions of farmers in the country, sharing the various innovations and technologies to make life easier for them is eminent and very critical.

I was first introduced to TED during my high school by my class teacher. Ever since, I am always fascinated with the concept of TED, where a group of random people come together and exchange ideas and get their brains stormed. I strongly believe in the power of ideas to change the lives of people and ultimately, the world. Few of my favorite TED talks are: 1. Do schools kill creativity? - Sir Ken Robinson. I like this TED talk given by Sir Ken Robinson because it gave me a new insight on how the education system of the schools is causing a decrease in the creativity and imagination of the students. His talk made me realize on how the schools are spoiling the creative capabilities of the students, thus affecting their intelligence and capability of being original. 2. The thrilling potential of SixthSense technology - Pranav Mistry. I was deeply intrigued to know about the sixthSense technology which integrates the real time data from our hand gestures into the digital devices such as a camera and motion sensors to interact with a computer. This used to be science fiction, but now it has become a reality. The applications of this SixthSense technology is very fascinating. 3. The best stats you've ever seen - Hans Rosling. This talk is one of my favorite TED talks. It gave me a new view about the development of the various countries of the world. The visualization of the large sets of data of all the countries such as the population, mortality rates, GDP per capita, etc. gives a new insight of the world. and many more... I registered for attending the TEDxNITTrichy event because I wanted to get a direct experience of a TED or TEDx event. It was really a great experience however it was saddening for me to know that most of my fellow students back at my college were not even aware of such inspiring experience. That why I decided to conduct a TEDx back at my college so that RMK's student community gets inspired and gets a TED-like experience.

I am good at opening up with people who are introvert in nature. I am good at multitasking. I am also good at motivating people and my fellow students.
