Laura is a globally minded thought leader who has successfully worked at the intersection of entertainment and finance for over ten years. She is the CEO of AG Capital, a fund that focuses on the advancement of culture by way of world class creators, impactful storytelling, and unique live events. In film and television, AG Capital is currently financing projects for Rob Siegel (THE WRESTLER, THE FOUNDER), JC Chandor (ALL IS LOST, A MOST VIOLENT YEAR), Plan B (MOONLIGHT, WORLD WAR Z, 12 YEARS A SLAVE) and Beau Willimon (HOUSE OF CARDS) amongst others. Today, Laura is a strong advocate for impact investing by way of cultural mediums. With these goals in mind, she has become an official advisor to Forbes Impact and Forbes Entertainment. AG Capital was born out of a partnership between Laura and her former client, Alex Garcia. She represented Garcia when she was a film finance agent at Creative Artists Agency. During her time at CAA, she had the privilege of negotiating on behalf of top tier talent such as Meryl Streep, Matthew McConaughey, Joel Edgerton, Reese Witherspoon, Natalie Portman, Viola Davis, Julia Roberts, Julianne Moore, Jennifer Lopez, Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper, Sean Combs, Justin Timberlake and many others. She also represented a burgeoning class of financiers by negotiating deals for companies like Annapurna, 2929 Entertainment, Silver Reel Entertainment and FilmNation to name a few. Before her time at the agency, Walker worked in Austin as an Assistant Director to filmmakers Asif Kapadia, Richard Linklater, Peter Berg and Robert Rodriguez. Originally from Texas, Laura currently resides in Los Angeles California with her husband, Jordan Wayne Lee.
