I’m a Journalist. I dedicate myself to teaching and working in education development projects in several regions of Peru. I have published three poetry anthologies since 2009. I have published in 2014 the book “Escribir es divertido” in a collaborative work with my students from a rural school in Cajamarca region. I have made several collaborations with the portal from the department of Lambayeque. I am one of the authors of the book “Sexo al cubo”, Altazor publishing company, which was presented in the International Book Fair, Peru, 2017. Nowadays, she facilitates writing workshops for children. I live in Chiclayo; I enjoy spending time with my family and living in the city where I grew up.

I’m passionate about education. I’m crazy about arts and the culture of my region. I think that we all can make history and transform part of this world with lots of perseverance and conviction. That’s the reason why I always participate in projects related to arts and educational development in different parts of the country. I’m keen of literature. I love writing a lot and reading to many Peruvian writers. I consider that Peru’s current situation should involve young people to be aware of their origins and history.

My story with TED began six years ago when a good friend of mine made me watch a TED video from Mar de Plata (Argentina). It talks about the life of a great designer who makes a project from several people. I like the dynamics to sell such a valuable idea with just basic elements. Nowadays this good friend became my fiancé and we used to watch the videos he liked the most. Whenever I had the chance to travel alone I motivated myself by watching one of those videos like: How to fix a broken school?, My daughter, Malala o The art of asking. Those three ones are my favorites and I constantly watch them. In addition I watch some other TED videos which inspire me and make me see the world differently each day. A friend of mine organized TED in Peru. I thought this is not only a great experience, but also amazing and challenging. That’s why I look for the possibility that other people from my country and my region could be inspired in the same way I did.

I am good at peruvian cuisine. No one knows I am also good at writing. No one knows that I love to record videos on Instagram. At work few people imagine that I could be a lovely person with my family and friends because I always seem to be serious and strict.
