Timothy Babich

Tim Babich manages his investments through his family office, Nexxus Holdings. He was previously the CEO of Fortelus Capital Management, a multi-billion dollar London-based hedge fund he founded in 2006. Previously he was a partner at Silver Point Capital, a Greenwich CT based hedge fund which he co-founded. He later relocated to London to set up the firm’s European operations. Mr. Babich began his career at Goldman Sachs in New York. Mr. Babich graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with an MBA in finance, a BS in economics and a BAS in computer engineering, where he currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Management and Technology School. Mr. Babich resides in Santa Barbara with his wife and two children Nat (8) and Eli (6). The family previously were residents of London for ten years. In 2015, Mr. Babich founded the RUNX1 Research Program whose mission is to finding a cure for RUNX1 FPD/AML and to support patients in the RUNX1 FPD/AML community by providing a forum in which to help connect, inform and educate patients on the disorder. In addition to providing grants for relevant research projects, the program hopes to build public awareness, educating both patients and healthcare providers on the latest research regarding the disorder.
