I am passionate about writing. I enjoy creating stories and making ideas come to life. Through my experiences and that of others I am able to create relatable stories. Furthermore, I have a strong will to always put a smile on people's faces in whatever way I can- this is one of my passions. I try to achieve this using my stories and my voice.

I grew up afraid. Some would term it introverted but it was more than that. And this fear grew as I aged. I was unwilling to try new things, leave my comfort zone. I had a knack for hiding in the shadows- literally and figuratively. I knew I was great at stuff- writing, peopling- but I avoided anything that would bring me out of my comfort zone. This was how I lived but one can only hide for so long. In the year 2018, I joined the TEDx team of my university- TEDxRiversStateUniversity- and it was the most marvellous experience. The experience opened my eyes to new possibilities. I witnessed the most engaging conversations, shared world changing ideas. It was all so beautiful. In 2019, I joined the TEDxPortHarcourt team as a content writer and in 2020 I was invited as a speaker where I gave my first TED talk on “Hope and Despair”. In February 2023, I organized my first TEDx event as a licensee. Being part of the TED community has changed my perspective on life itself. I’ve come to realize that running and hiding is no way to go through life. I have grown from being a scared little girl to someone who- story by story, and idea by idea- will change the world.
