I'm a student dedicated to learning as much about the world as I possibly can. I love to subject myself to informative experiences to absorb knowledge that I can use to problem solve. I often find myself daydreaming of exploration of the unknown: into the depths of space or to the microverse that is the quantum realm. One of my life's ambitions is to eliminate suffering and promote the wellbeing of humans, animals, and the environment. I don't intend to achieve this goal completely, but I want to do everything I can. This includes trying to find a sustainable source of energy, combat poverty and hunger, and to improve the quality of life for those that are in need. In my free time, I enjoy delving into fictitious realms through, comic books, manga, television programs, books, and movies. I also like writing my own stories, poems, and scientific theories in essays. I spend much of my time dedicated to the arts as well. For much of my life, I have been a recreational bassist and percussionist as well as a songwriter. I was never very talented at drawing and sculpting, although I enjoyed it, but to quench my thirst to create something "beautiful," I took up photography and film. Through all these artistic outlets, I conveyed messages, hidden meanings, and my personal philosophies masked in a superficially aesthetic facade. All of the above listed activities take up a chunk of my time, but most of time is spent watching educational documentaries and TedTalks. I love this medium for learning because of its simplicity. Even someone that isn't an expert in the particular field can understand the main ideas of each topic. That is why I strongly recommend to those that are interested in learning to watch educational videos like TedTalks.
