An idea worth spreading

Storytelling and sharing can break down the fear and ignorance that is a big part of our world today. I want to stress the importance of valuing everyone's personal story, journey and strengths. I'd like to reinvent social media to allow people from diverse backgrounds to make real, meaningful and inspiring connections that celebrate all aspects of gender, race, sexuality, age and spiritual belief.

The TED story

I attended my first TEDx event in 2017 (TEDxSydney) and since then I have been to two more TEDxSydney events and two TEDxYouth@Sydney events with students from my school. In 2018 we organized and ran our own school event, TEDxYouth@Abbotsleigh. I also attended another school event in recent weeks at TEDxYouth@SBHS. We plan to run a second, bigger and better TEDxYouth@Abbotsleigh in 2020. I am also very excited to attend TEDSUMMIT in Edinburgh.
