Girish Bhakoo is a partner at Acacia Partners funds, a part of Ruane, Cunniff & Goldfarb, Inc.. Acacia is focused on long-term investing in exceptional companies whose managements we regard highly. We do this globally and across industries. Girish joined Acacia in 2001, having spent six years at investment manager Equinox Partners. Mr. Bhakoo graduated with highest honors in Economics from Williams College in 1995. He lives in New York City with his wife and two children, who each inspire him daily. Girish is involved with various education non-profits as an advisor. His favorite activities outside of work include reading, travel, and nature. To foster collaborative learning and action, Girish is also engaged in founding, supporting and investing in community-building technology platforms for socially conscious organizations.
