I have a love of adventure - I've hitch-hiked on a sailboat from Nice to Corsica, walked 200 miles on a path in Wales, go on a 100 mile horseback ride up/down the Owens Valley/Mammoth a couple times a year. My garden is organic and I usually have somewhere in the neighborhood of 15 different kinds of herbs growing - more in the summer. I have a regular yoga/meditation practice. I read a lot. Would it make sense for airlines to start charging by pounds per mile rather than seat per route? The idea is appealing, but what about the math?
