Connect (connecting people and projects through her vast network);

Communicate (maximizing marketing, PR and comms programs no matter the sector).
Founded in 2006, juliethompsoninc is a specialty firm offering advertising industry-at-large consulting and advocacy. Ad agency and ad industry relations. Strategic marketing, PR direction, counsel. Brokering of creative partnerships between disparate entities. Business development. Project management. Creative, informed input regarding brand integration, presence. Prior to striking out on her own, Julie was head of corporate affairs for Leo Burnett Worldwide, serving as promoter, protector, and steward of the Leo Burnett brand. There, Julie oversaw the agency’s worldwide profile, both within the advertising industry and the larger business and media communities. The position required her to be in tune with the entire 94-office, six-continent agency network, merchandising stories, spokespeople and shining examples of creative work for clients ranging from Altoids, Disney, McDonald’s and Kellogg’s to Visa, Marlboro, Samsung and Procter & Gamble.
Julie served on Burnett’s Global Operating Committee, Burnett’s international management board, and in 2004 served on the agency’s U.S. Operating Committee when managing LB USA communications. She was also asked to join the agency’s internal Global Leadership Committee from 2004-2005.
Julie joined Leo Burnett Worldwide in May 2002. Previously, she was corporate communications director for Fallon Worldwide where she helped launch BMW’s ground-breaking web series “The Hire,” assisted in the re-launch of its NYC office and managed communications for expansions into London, Singapore, Hong Kong and Sao Paulo.

She began her career at Bozell Public Relations. In 2006, Julie served as co-chair of the PR Committee of the American Association of Advertising Agencies.
