Arthur Steiner

Art historian working at the cross roads of contemporary arts, design, technology and social change. In the wake of the merchants of old, Arthur traveled the ancient Silk Road through Syria, Iraq, Iran, Pakistan and then the spice road southwards through Egypt and Ethiopia to Kenya. On January 28th 2011 he arrived for the first time in Egypt, in the midst of the Egyptian revolution. In the months after the uprisings he established a creative hub in Cairo together with an Egyptian business partner. Over the years this space has provided space and support to hundreds of young entrepreneurs and artists. Currently I'm setting up a global fellowship programme for artists and culture producers
