I have this nag of understanding peoples native language just by looking at them for the first time. India is a land of linguistic diversity and it always astonishes you by the simplicity of how people correlate and catch up with these languages. I was no different when I received my schooling from different cities in the Southern Part of India and caught up languages like Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada; Tamil being the inherent language for me since childhood. I am basically a Maharashtrian the language i.e. Marathi also was a childhood possession. Learning Arabic in Dubai also helped me understand the culture of the people of the UAE and gel in with them easily. My TED story could be how I, as a person, made efforts unlike most who should and realized the beauty of the cultures of this beautiful country and its diverse people.
