Bio
I am trained as a graphic designer and hold a bachelor degree in this field from Monash University, Melbourne, Australia. My postgraduate level studies focused on marketing and advertising. I am currently a PhD candidate with Monash University Art Design and Architecure (MADA).
Throughout my career I have been both a design practitioner and an academic. I have more than 20 years of experience working in design. From 2001 to 2010 I was the principal designer and owner of Design Consortium, a multidisciplinary design studio based in Melbourne. My work ranges from brand development, packaging, publishing, exhibition design, environmental graphics, as well as new media.
In my academic work, I have held positions as tutor at my alma mater, Monash University (Melbourne, Australia), as well as the Australian Academy of Design (Melbourne, Australia), where I held both coordinator and senior lecturer positions. I am currently living and working in the Middle East, Kuwait, where I am teaching all aspects of graphic design at the Mass Communications & Media Department at Gulf University for Science & Technology.
