About Ahmad
Bio
Ahmad Samarji is an Australian citizen proud of his Arab (Lebanese) descent and rich international and intercultural skills and knowledge. He enjoys over 18 years of teaching experience in academia, out of which nine years have been in educational leadership positions in Australia and Lebanon.
Dr. Samarji started his academic career in the STEM education field, soon to delve into literacy education, ESL, and EFL education models and support systems. Hence, he can proudly add the letter "A" to his specialization to become STEAM education, orchestrating the arts, humanities, and sociology dimensions to his science, math, and ICT education background.
Dr. Samarji has recently embarked on a new professional growth journey, which is to serve as an Expert and Advisor of Policy & Research at the Community Development Authority (CDA), Government of Dubai, mapping educational experiences and practices to civic engagement and community development in a strategic, innovative, creative, and sustainable manner.
