Bio
As Senior Vice President, Enterprise Partnerships, Leigh Amaro is chartered with the commercialization of emerging payment solutions around the world to serve the next generation of commerce. Her primary focus is to digitize new payment flows especially in the areas of transit, healthcare, travel and remittances. Her responsibilities include managing key global strategic alliances, leading on-the-ground market commercialization efforts, and identifying, structuring and managing new potential partnerships that will have significant impact on the future revenue of MasterCard. Prior to joining MasterCard, Mrs. Amaro led Information Data products for Visa, where she was responsible for strategy, global product expansion and corporate development activities. In this capacity, she was responsible for the incubation and formation of a variety of loyalty marketing platforms. Prior to joining Visa, Mrs. Amaro had various leadership roles in the consulting and payments industry. Mrs. Amaro has received 12 patents. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Cornell University. Born in New Zealand, raised in Canada and has been a resident of San Francisco since 2000
