Bio

Tish is a bean-maker, not a bean-taker. With a global specialization in Research and Innovation, Brand Strategy and Story, Tish is driven to unlock the better stories of visionaries and brands. She has worked with Fortune 100 brands in a range of categories including food, beverage, beauty, baby care, health and wellness, energy, luxury, home care, spirits, and pharmaceuticals. Tish specializes in brand strategy and communications, qualitative research, insight and innovation. Her work delivers growth and innovation–exploring fresh ways organizations, products and brands can participate as cultural citizens and forces for change; this has transformed some of the most iconic brands as well as startups, small businesses, and nonprofits. A poet, writer and facilitator, Tish has read at the louderARTS Project in New York, the Lake Eden Arts Festival in Black Mountain, the Taos Poetry Festival in New Mexico, and at the Boulevard San Michel in Paris. She has written poetry my whole life and is currently working on a series of novels. A member of the community since 2009, Tish holds the TEDxNewYorkSalon license and serves as lead organizer and programming director. An educator’s daughter, Tish has dedicated my life to advocating for the education of impoverished girls and women. At age 12, she began my ongoing campaign to make post-secondary education available by fundraising tuition fees for under-served women and girls. She has been involved in productions of The V Monologues to fund raise for women's causes and is co-founder of The Worldwide Women’s Web, an online collaboration platform for the educational and financial empowerment of women and girls around the world. Currently based in Brooklyn, New York, she has worked in the Americas, Asia Pacific, Europe, the UK, and the UAE. I speak English, Filipino and Spanish; and am taxi conversant in French, Mandarin, Thai, Japanese, and Bahasa Indonesia. Her bragging rights include… • Clio Gold Award-Winning Copywriter • Scholar Award Winning Strategist for Planning Effectiveness, Ogilvy Asia Pacific • Unlocked the strategic insight for the Pond's that inspired the shift in the brand's global direction • co-Founder of the Women's Worldwide Web, an online platform dedicated to the educational and economic empowerment of the world's girls and women • Designed a breakthrough ethnographic approach that went on to win an Atticus award for original thinking in communications
