My TED story goes back to 2014-15. I appeared for IIT JEE, one of the toughest exams in India with selection percentage as low as 0.5% In my very first attempt, i couldn't make it through to the college and branch i wanted. I was at a juncture where the roads diverged into two. One option was to leave the college i always dreamt of and join some other college or to grab all my strength again and give it a whole hearted shot (The path less travelled). I got support from my family, friends and relatives. And Bang! a year down the line, i made it to the college i have always wanted to be in. Do you know why isn't just another success story? This assumably is, one of the toughest period of a students life, the period which i loved the most. It showed me the importance of being focused and being dedicated. An average guy in his secondary school could make it to one of the elite colleges of the country. This instance made me restore the faith in my ability and suddenly the phrase "Where there is a will, there is a way" started making much more sense to me. Every one can achieve what he/she aspires for, it's just the matter of focus, direction and a proper guidance.
