Bio
Heidi Zak is the Co-Founder/Co-CEO of ThirdLove. ThirdLove is an innovative bra and underwear brand that believes fit should come first. With over 1 million customers, ThirdLove is widely known as the brand to catch Victoria's Secret. ThirdLove has a program called "Bras for All" where they've donated over $3.5 million worth of bras to women in need since its inception.
Prior to ThirdLove, Zak cut her teeth in retail at Aeropostale where she quickly rose to Director of the retail giant, launching and running the International Division, before becoming a marketing executive at Google. Zak holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from Duke University and an MBA from MIT Sloan. In her free time she loves spending time with her two kids, breaking a sweat in boot camp class, and cooking with ingredients from San Francisco's farmers markets.
Heidi has been named one of Fast Company’s Most Creative People, Goldman Sachs 100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs, Business Insider's 30 Female-Founded Startups to Watch, and SF Business Times 40 Under 40.
I'm passionate about
Helping build the female founder community.
An idea worth spreading
Women and families are the fastest-growing group in the homeless population in the United States today. And, 90 percent of these women are single heads of households, the only potential breadwinner. We also know that it’s harder for these women to get jobs to support their families—and job-based discrimination is present on a much larger scale amongst homeless women.
I know that these women especially need a bra to feel empowered to lead their family, to find a job and to feel confident participating in the workplace, so it became my goal to extend ThirdLove’s company mission of helping every woman find her perfect fit to these deserving women, too.
Since our founding in 2013, ThirdLove has been devoted to helping celebrate these women, and has donated over $4 million dollars worth of bras to charities around the United States.
