Sustainable Living Today we are living in a very selfish and unsustainable way. We plunder and overuse nature's resources and have little thought and compassion for the millions of other animals we share this planet with. No other species has wiped out as many other species as humans and the sad thing is no other species is capable of showing the same intelligence and empathy as us humans. With great power comes great responsibility but we have maintained little of our responsibility towards the environment and continue to take more than we can ever give back. When it comes to reaping the seeds we have sown like the effects of global warming and food scarcity, instead of repenting our actions and changing our way of living we further make our already unsustainable lifestyles even more unsustainable to live our lives comfortably. We need to start reading the writing on the wall; we cannot live like this for much longer. As Mahatma Gandhi once said, "The world has enough for everyone's need but not enough for everyone's greed."
