I grew up in Izhevsk, a small industrial town established in the 1500's by the Udmurtian people in the Western Ural Mountains in Russia. If you've heard of the famous AK-47 rifle, then you might have heard of my home-town as it is the birthplace of this legendary rifle. Being one quarter Udmurtian, I look more Asian than Russian. At least, that is the conclusion after a zillion people asked me what part of Asia I am from. For the past nine years I've either been in school or working 24/7. This year, I decided to take a life sabbatical, go traveling, have some fun, and figure out what I want to do for the next 50 years. When I am not busy creating my bucket list, I enjoy meeting with close friends and family, cooking, dancing, exercise, reading and watching a LOT of TED Talks.

I'm passionate about turning my home town, Izhevsk in a better place and motivating people to do the same. I am passionate about finding solutions in seemingly helpless situations, traveling the world, spending quality time with my family, and learning new skills.
