The TED story
I first knew about TED at the law school in 2012 when a colleague of mine gave me a collection of over 50 TED videos. I was shocked by how such videos exists and I knew nothing about them. I began sharing them to my friends and the love for TED videos spread. Fast forward to 2016 when I returned to Lagos and I heard TEDx Gbagada was organizing an independent TED event and I applied to be a volunteer. Since then I have volunteered for every TEDx event I hear about because for me, its a way to inspire conversations of change especially among young people. I am excited about the prospect of organising my own TEDx event.
