Bio

Gina is the Cultural Alchemist for X (formerly known as Google X) and is responsible for driving cultural innovation and inclusion for the organization. She is currently in seminary and will graduate an Interfaith Minister this June. She is on the board of directors of the Ketamine Research Foundation. She is also the best selling author of Practical Genius and prior to joining X She ran her own her own private executive coaching and leadership development practice and has been a guest lecturer and trainer for organizations including Microsoft, Mattel, PepsiCo, Nike, Merck Co., Summit Series, the BET Network, the Interpublic Group, LinkedIn, and Stanford University, among many others. Gina was a 2016 Aspen Fellow and also served on the Generation ListenAdvisory Board for National Public Radio. She was appointed to be the Chief Inspiration Officer for the 2015 Entrepreneurial Barbie by Mattel Inc. A naYorker, Gina graduated with a Bachelors degree in English Literature from Binghamton University and is a National Urban Fellow holding a Masters degree in Public Administration from Baruch College in New York City. Gina is a single mom living in San Carlos with her son and has a great passion for disruption in the arts.
