Bio
Aside from director of TEDxKISJeju, I am currently teaching on Jeju Island, Korea. I have been teaching and traveling internationally for seven years, visiting over 20 countries from Azerbaijan to Thailand. In the summer of 2019, Brevard County will be my new home. I am searching for, and looking forward to, the next opportunity.
Before teaching internationally, I worked in a wall street firm, a commercial lending division of a bank, and owned my own real estate businesses.

The TED story
It's the age old. burning question: What does a Science teacher with an MBA in Finance do with their extra time? The answer if course is as old as time: They become a budget director for TEDxKISJeju!
In 2017, I was asked by the director of TEDxKISJeju to take over as their budget director.
When the former director left, I became the new director, and have been director for the last two years (2018 and 2019).
In 2018, the students decided to move the organization from a Standard event to a Youth Event. They show no signs of wanting to return.
Because it's a youth event, the students are responsible. This means I have a simple job description, but difficult to execute: to stay out of their way and let them shine.
